Personal Mission Statement
I strive to live with openness, mindfulness, and compassion at every effort of all that I do. I plan to approach life with understanding and growth, by accepting new perspectives and experiences as opportunities to grow. My purpose is to support and uplift individuals around me facing challenges by offering empathy, encouragement, and understanding wherever I can. By contributing in helping the communities and embracing each moment as a source of insight, I aim to become a more grounded, more compassionate person and to contribute, in my own way, to a more humanitarian and connected world.
StrengthsFinder
My top five strengths were Learner, Responsibility, Relator, Strategic, and Achiever after completing the StrengthsFinder 2.0 test. My mindset when it comes to my education, social relationships, and potential career in public health has been shaped by these strengths.

After taking the StrengthsFinder 2.0 test my top five strengths were listed as...
-
Learner: I find happiness in the process of learning and am always looking for new knowledge.
-
Responsibility: I commit to responsibility for my actions and make an effort to keep my commitments.
-
Relator: I build deep connections and work effectively with those that I have a strong bond.
-
Strategic: I am prepared to see trends, assess several options, and select the most effective course of action.
-
Achiever: I am driven, dedicated, and gratified with what I achieve and progress.
Reflection
With everything evaluated, completing this test made me more conscious of the attributes that influence my learning, and connections with others. It prompted me to acknowledge my contributions to academic and professional instances and to celebrate the abilities I might have overlooked. I want to use this information going ahead to influence my own growth, increase my confidence, and assist me in becoming the sort of public health professional I want to be.

Emotional Intelligence
I assessed my results after completing the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 test and discovered more about how I handle and regulate emotions, both my own and those of others. My Personal Competence score was greater than my Social Competence score, which surprised me. It was unexpected to see that, although I am strong at determining and controlling my own emotions, I may not always be as perceptive to other people's feelings as I had previously believed.

1. Self-Management
One of my stronger areas was this where in difficult situations, I am able to maintain control, regulate my responses, and stay objective.
2. Self-Awareness
My results indicate that I have an understanding of my emotions and am capable to determine how they affect my choices and actions.
3. Management of Relationships
My lower score in this category suggests that I can do better at navigating conflict, making closer connections with others, and managing different kinds of personalities.
4. Social Awareness
My lowest score was this one. Despite my welcoming personality, I've discovered that I don't always recognize people's social clues. Developing this ability will make me more successful and understanding in group situations.

Reflection
My understanding of my strengths and potential for improvement has increased since taking the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 testing. It was unexpected yet encouraging to discover that my social competence is less than my personal competence. It pointed out to me that even while I have a good understanding of myself, I can still do better at detecting other people's emotional experiences and applying that knowledge to develop more lasting connections with them.
